 1. OS version? Windows XP 2. What firewalls you have? Windows and Actiontec Both off 3. How much ram? 256 4. Hard Disk space available? 5GB 5. Connection type? DSL 6. Modem & router brand name & model numbers? Actiontec GT701-WG 7. Where are you trying to connect from (home, school, work, etc.)? Home 8. What version of Limewire (LW) & Java do you have? 4.10.0 Pro & Java 1.5.0_6 9. Who is your ISP provider? Qwest 10. Are you sharing the connection with other computers or p2p sharing programs? Yes Wireless Network 2 Laptops, 2 Desktops 11. Do this simple test for us. Using your browser go here: http://www3.limewire.com:6346/ The page should say 'Your test worked!'. What happens when you go there? Failed Says Starting Connection but never does. have turned off both firewall but limewire still shows firewall icon at bottom. I am using my laptop with the intel proset wireless card. we had cable before and it worked fine, but since we got DSL i havent got it to connect.  |
