 1. OS version? XP Media Center Edition 2. What firewalls you have? Trend Micro (turned off), Windows Firewall (also turned off), and D Link DI-624 router (I think it has a firewall built in) 3. How much ram? 2 GB 4. Hard Disk space available? 30 GB 5. Connection type? Cable 1.5 MB with wireless router 6. Modem & router brand name & model numbers? D Link DI-624 7. Where are you trying to connect from (home, school, work, etc.)? Home 8. What version of Limewire (LW) & Java do you have? LW 4.10.3 and Java 1.5.0_06 9. Who is your ISP provider? Northland Cable (Local Cable Co.) 10. Are you sharing the connection with other computers or p2p sharing programs? No 11. Do this simple test for us. Using your browser go here: What happens when you go there? says "Your test worked" * Did you configure your firewall so it allows LW full access? I think so! 12. Do This test, Is the result True/False? False 13. Do a speed test post the results here. 1428 kbps download and 114 kbps upload  |
