 Got it working! Here what I did... First, the "delete-the-pref-folder" advice did nothing for me. Steps: 1) Launch Limewire. See the new "Tips" dialog box? DISABLE the show-tips-at-launch checkbox. Then click "ok" and hope you never see that box again. 2) Go to LimeWire Preferences and disable the auto-connect at launch option. 3) Quit Limewire. Then relaunch Limewire. Then manually "connect" from the menu. Voila! I surmise that the new Tips box is interfering with the application's ability to connect! Limewacko  |

i did this as well as all the tips that i could find here in this forum..but nothing worked...i am currently using XP HE...and my LW isint workin...my basic Lw worked fine...but when i upgraded to pro...i only get 1 green bar..and of course when i hit the connection button i have no connections...ppplllleeeaaassseeee help....thanks.,.... |

| I honestly don't know what to say as i am only on the basic package. I really am sorry that i can't help. If it helps mine is playing up again. It worked fine last night, I switch on this morning to find only one green bar!! |

| limewire help!? I dont get it cuz on #2 u said go to limewire prefrences but where is that? I looked under file, view, navigation, resources, etc., and cant find it! Also, How do u manually "connect" from the menu? Thx, -starr89me Quote:
