connection problems

1. OS version? (eg: Windows 98) Win XP
2. What firewalls you have? G DATA Internet Security 2006
3. How much ram? 1 GB
4. Hard Disk space available? 58 GB
5. Connection type? (eg: dialup, broadband, cable, etc.) broadband/dsl

7. Where are you trying to connect from (house, appartment complex, school, student accomodation, work, etc.)? home
8. What version of LimeWire (LW) & Java do you have? (Go to LW's menu Help>About LW...) Will show both LW & Java version. LW 4.12.6, Java 1.5.0_06
9. Who is your ISP provider (Internet Service Provider)? telmex prodigy
10. Do this simple test for us. Using your browser go here: http://www3.limewire.com:6346/ The page should say 'Your test worked!'. What happens when you go there? I can't load the page, guess the test didn't work
11. Are you sharing the connection with other computers or p2p sharing programs? If yes, please give details of set up. It's an open wireless network but I think I'm the only one using it
12. Is this a your 1st try at LW or is this a new problem with an experienced user. I've been using LW forever, but this problem is new
13. Do you see a brick wall in front of the blue world icon at the bottom of LW's interface? I do

I didn't have problems before changing to the wireless last week. But even after it worked fine for some days. But 2 days ago I suddenly couldn't connect anymore. I didn't make any other changes. I tried with port forwarding, and it worked for one day. But today I can't connect again.
Please help me, I don't know what else to do :bangh:

The settings in your router are probably reverting back to default. There are several routers that will do that for one reason or another. You may have to set up port forwarding again and again etc. Some times new firmware will solve the problem.

But if they were set to default I wouldn't see them in the router setup. But everything is still there.

That may be true but I have had to reset mine numerous times when the settings were still there. I would just try updating them and see if it helps.

I have tried that using different ports. First it didn't work. But then, out of nowwhere I could connect. But when I tried again tonight, it didn't work again.
Maybe I just have to wait and be lucky.
Thanks for your help
