How is this possible ?

Connection Problems Problems getting the LimeWire or WireShare program connecting to the Gnutella network. (not about connecting to files, that is a Download/Upload Problems section issue.) Please supply system details as described in the forum rules.

I think you're talking about deleting the preferences folder? That folder contains your preferences within LW's options. Delete the folder & a new one will be created when you restart LW. But all options will have reverted to default...you'll have to go back through options & reset things to the way you like them

See point 3 below for instructions. Make sure LW's properly closed before you delete the prefs!
