Hello to all...

I had to reformat my PC for a second time in as many years... I'm of the OLDER generation and keep making silly mistakes. My questin is however, after the first format I was able to get Limewire back again, but I can't remember exactly how... I've have a new email now... no luck... I tried my old email... same thing.

I too thought it was a lifetime membership, if I got scammed like some of the replies state... how come I got it back and it worked fine... it was even the Pro version??? I don't mind paying a small fee for various features or upgrades either. Oh' I forgot to mention... when I tried to sign up again I got to the window asking for the credit card number, but it's a card I no longer have!

Being new to the forum I hope I've explained my situation well enough for some one to help me. Thank you all so much for your time.

If it's been more than 6 months since you bought Pro, your email address won't be in the database anymore;)

If you originally bought from a scam site, I've got no idea how you were able to get a Pro version from the official site!

If you want to purchase Pro again, make sure to go to the official site www.limewire.com Pro will cost you $18.88 & includes 6 months of free updates & email support.
You should be able to enter details for any credit card - old or new.

Depending on how old your previous version of LW was, you might see a lot of difference in the current version of LW. You might be better off trying out the free basic LW first. That way, you can see how the new version works, if you like it then think about buying Pro:D
