Gnutella Forums - Cant connect but could 2 weeks ago!!!!

My limewire only gets one green bar and and says its trying to connect when i search for songs. Limewire worked just 2 weeks ago if even that. Its not being blocked by any of my security settings and ive even tried re adding limewire as exceptions to my windows firewall and mcafee. I am not going to delete mcafee bc its paid for and i need it. Ive tried deleting the .limewire file like the sticky says. It doesnt work. Ive tried clicking the link provided for the jar thing to delete the .limewire file and ive tried uninstalling and re installing limewire. I also dl ares and it wouldnt connect either. I reallllllllllly need to figure out whats going on because i have a listening test for my stupid music class and i need to dl some songs!!!!!! Please help this is turning into a big head ache.
