Please help! Can't connect to Limewire
 

So I'm sure this has been discussed before but I'm new. I installed Limewire and when I went to click the icon I couldn't get it to open. I uninstalled it as well as Java, and then restarted my computer and reinstalled Java and then reinstalled Limewire. However, I still can't open it. I checked my firewall settings and they are turned off. Can anybody help? I would greatly appreciate any input.

Try uninstalling your Java from the add/remove programs and then re-install the JRE offline version....(5th one down)

Then uninstall Limewire using the uninstaller which is found in start > all programs > limewire...then re-install it using the offline installer...

If that does not help with your problem try deleting your preference folder...
