| Connection Problems Problems getting the LimeWire or WireShare program connecting to the Gnutella network.
(not about connecting to files, that is a Download/Upload Problems section issue.) Please supply system details as described in the forum rules.

| hmm I have heard of ISP problems in India. They may have secretly started blocking or shaping your use of LW. But that's purely conjecture. You deleted the .limewire folder, how about deleting the new limewire prefs folder; Try deleting your LW Preferences folder whilst LW is closed; instructions here: Point #3 in Fixes for Limewire (sample image included at bottom of page.) Also, after opening LW let it sit for 10-15 mins before using. If still no good, disconnect, then reconnect LW 15 mins later. That will check to see if you are accidentally getting connected thru dud ultrapeers. Check Connections page to be sure they aren't the same both times. |
