so here is my info in hops that i can get this problem resolved:

1. OS version? (eg: Windows 98) Windows xp home
2. What firewalls you have? the windows firewall
3. How much ram?
4. Hard Disk space available? 111 gb
5. Connection type? (eg: dialup, broadband, cable, etc.) T1
6. Modem & router brand name & model numbers? LAN connection

Colleges are known to block p2p programs from running on their networks. Ask around campus if anyone can connect.
