 connecting to limewire Due to being new to the group, I failed to post correctly. Sorry about that.....I see alot of folks are having the same problem as I am on connecting to Limewire. I am operating windows xp. My firewall is microsoft windows. My connection type is dsl. I am using a modem/router that is a westell versalink Model 327W. It is UPnp enabled, I think. I am running version of Limewire 4.12.11 and Java 1.6.0. My isp is Bellsouth. I have tried disabling the firewall and still can't connect to Limewire. I was able to connect on Limewire yesterday. I haven't done anything different(downloaded anything, etc.). I'd appreciate any help that I can get in resolving this problem. Thanks, Wanda  |
