Firewall Icon

Hey. I installed Limewire about a week ago and it connected fine. But recently it hasn't been connecting. After about a minute or two after selecting 'connect' a message comes up saying "you do not appear to have an active internet connection or your firewall may be blocking limewire". Also, the world icon has a brick wall in front of it but I went to the windows firewall and saw that Limewire was already ticked  I don't have any other firewalls yet cos I recently got a new hard drive and haven't got round to installing another one yet. The firewall icon has always been there but it didn't cause me problems last week. Any tips??
