Connection issue
 

When I search for a song, a window pops-up and says that Limewire is trying to connect and that until it connects not many results will com back.

How can I get Limewire to full connect to its server?

I couldn't connect to my old version of limewire so I decided to download pro and it STILL does not work. I have tried everything, I have added limewire as an exception in the firewall settings a few times. I have added/changed ports/proxies, you name it I've tried it. I'm more confused as to why the old version just somehow stopped working. I hadn't used it in maybe a week and it just completely stopped. In the lower left corner it says "Starting Connection" and then it never does. HELP! This is ridiculous, I paid to upgrade and I can't even use it! I would rather use limewire to download my songs than itunes because it is so expensive.
