Please help! (connecting to the network)

I have connected to limewire, but when i type in a song name or artist, etc. It comes up with a message:

"LimeWire is currently connecting to the network. Your search may not return many results until you are fully connected with the netork."

Can anyone tell me what this means and what I have to do.
