Firewalled, like everybody else. Help!

I installed limewire and used it for 2 days, day 3 a brick wall appeared infront of the globe thing. I tried several things including disabling both firewalls, uninstalling and reinstalling limewire ect.
I know many people are having this problem but any help would be great.

Windows XP
PC Cillin internet security
512 MB RAM
516 Pentium
200 GB Hard Drive

What else?

My connection is through a wireless router, Linksys 2.4 Gig broadband.

This is ridiculous. You need to be computer engineer or a 12 year old to make this BS program run corretly. I can not follow all of the links to steps to links to this to that blah blah blah. Is there an easier way to get this thing working?
