Connection / Firewall Issue - One more VICTIM :( Sigh

OK So I guess youve heard this all before. I know it must bug you. I used to work in interenet call center !!!

Anyway Ive tryed following a fair bit of previous posts in the forums here to see if it would help but to no avail. Anywhere where to begin. Well limewire hasnt worked for a couple of months now but im tired of not being able to access new music so Im going to try to get the problem sorted.

OK my connection is OK, Well OK for TISCALI ! I realise there are issues there ! But I cant even get connected at 2am ! Basically I have the World/Brick Firewall Icon besides my Red connection bar. Ive only got Windows XP SP2 standard Fire Wall installed and I have an exception checked to allow limewire access.

Ive tryed numerous fixes but not necessarilly in the correct order. I need some detailed advice / guide on how to rectify this problem. I NEED my music.

Magical word Tiscal They are known to block or shape p2p traffic.

Well this morning I tryed Limewire Again. Its 9.50am and Lime Wire is working fine Now ! Hmmm Stayed up last night too 11.30 pm with no sucess trying to connect. First thing this morning and it works fine. Must definately be Tiscali. Sigh. Firewall Icon is no longeer present and ive not changed anything since I last tryed to connect. Oh well Least Ive got a Forum Account now :sad:

Have a look through these threads, you might find something to help. No guarantees, but changing ports has worked for some people;)
