Limewire connects on laptop but not on desktop
 

Hi there!

I have troubles with connecting to limewire pro on my desktop pc. I have installed LW Pro on my laptop to, and there everythings works fine.

- I have compared the firewallsettings on both computers
- Having LW Pro installed on both computers worked before I installed windows again on my desktop pc.

I know for sure it has nothing to do with the router-setting otherwise it shouldn't work on my laptop to. I think there is a problem with my desktop pc witch I can't figure out.

hello people! I'm really hoping that someone can help me, I can't download any music and that is argh..! :shoot:

I re-installed my computer today (again), and it still doesn't work.

- Windows XP Professional
- Windows standard firewall
- 1024 DDR RAM 2x512 pc3200
- Cable
- Modem & router brand name & model numbers? ( i have no idea, have to look it up)
- House (wireless network)
- school, student accomodation, work, etc.)?
- Limewire PRO 4.2.6 | Java 2 platform standard edition 1.4.2
- Provider: Chello
- Testpage works
- Its a wireless connection in the house. Every computer can connect to this network.
- Before I reinstalled my computer it worked. Now I have reinstalled it again and it still doesn't work.
- Brick wall? How do you people mean this?

Hope people can help me now! I hate it that I can't download :(
