Wont connect
 

i just downloaded limewire it was a suggestion from a friend and when i start lime wire i cant get results for searches because i am not connected i had to download java it was the offline version 1.6.0_01 and 4.12.11 limewire version i dont know anything about computers and had to have my friend walk me through both downloads

Try this version of Java instead, lots of people have had problems with 1.6.0_01. Use the JRE offline installer.
Archive: Download Java 2 Platform Standard Edition (J2SE) 5.0 Update 11

Go to Add/Remove Programs & remove your current version of Java before you install this one;)

hey i tried ur link and it wont let me download it i go to the page and then i chick on the download button and it goes to the "this page cannot be displayed" page

That link works fine for me now. Have another go, if the page still won't display, try using a different browser.
