Unhappy One Bar of Connectivity. [Help!]

1. OS version? Windows XP
2. What firewalls you have? Windows Firewall [off], Norton Internet Security [enabled], that's all I'm aware of.
3. How much ram? N/A
4. Hard Disk space available? 39.7 Gb, I think... [don't know exactly where to find this info.]
5. Connection type? (eg: dialup, broadband, cable, etc.) It's a wireless laptop with a router, so broadband?
6. Modem & router brand name & model numbers? Modem: Westell, Router: Lynksys [WRT54GS version6]
7. Where are you trying to connect from (house, appartment complex, school, student accomodation, work, etc.)? House. [wireless.]
8. What version of LimeWire (LW) & Java do you have? LW: 4.12.11 Java: 1.5.0_06
9. Who is your ISP (Internet Service Provider)? Bellsouth.
10. Do this simple test for us. Using your browser go here: http://www3.limewire.com:6346/ The page should say 'Your test worked!'. What happens when you go there? It says, "This page could not be displayed."
11. Are you sharing the connection with other computers or p2p sharing programs? If yes, please give details of set up. I'm sharing the connection with my desktop, since there's a router for this laptop.
12. Is this a your 1st try at LW or is this a new problem with an experienced user. New problem.
13. Do you see a brick wall in front of the blue world icon at the bottom of LW's interface? Yes.

14. For those using a modem/router, how is your modem/router set up...are you port forwarding or is UPnP enabled? UPnP is enabled, I'm pretty sure. I don't know how to check, but on LW's Advanced Tools option, that's what it says is recommended.
15. What security programs are you using (antivirus etc)? Norton Internet Security.
16. What country are you living in? USA.

PLEASE HELP. If you have MSN, IM me at [edit] If not, just email me at the same adress AND post here. Thanks. - Miss Murder.

Hi....
Your Norton Internet Security will need to be configured properly to allow limewire..
These instructions will show you how to do this...
Port Forwarding for the Norton Internet Security 2007

I checked the Port Forwarding site for your router , they only have up to version 4 listed, so if after we try these fixes and you have no success, we will have a look at that...

Your Java also could do with updating, try 5.11, it's the least buggy...
Uninstall your current Java from the add/remove programs and then re-install the JRE 5.11 offline version....
Archive: Download Java 2 Platform Standard Edition (J2SE) 5.0 Update 11

Also I just did a quick forum search about Bellsouth and westell and found this
http://www.gnutellaforums.com/open-d...-settings.html
So if the above doesn't work we will have a look at that as well...
