Connection problems
 
Hi all,

Will try and get all the info needed to see if anyone can help me!

I have disabled both windows and Norton firewalls but LW says I am still be hind a FW or Router, Get the globe with a wall and also direct connect says it to, Downloads keeps saying more connections needed?

Info
  1. Windows XP service pack 2
  2. BT Homehub
  3. Lots of GB on H/D
  4. Lime wire version 4.12.11
  5. Java Version 1.5.0_10
  6. wireless network on Hub
Connection quality is all green but not getting anything, I do see search results but cannot seem to D/L anything just keep getting needs more sources.

It also says in the Taskbar at the top of the screen "enabling open information sharing"

Any ideas???

Sounds like your router may have a firewall. Can you give the model # on router. May have to portforward router. Also not a good idea to use more than one firewall at a time as they will conflict with each other. Turn windows firewall completly off and configure Nortons to always allow Limewire.

Thanks for the reply, I have disabled my router firewall, it has uPnP enabled and norton has been configured to allow Limewire to work, I have even disabled both my firewalls and still no Joy.

The Hub is a BT Home Hub C2BB.

I did read that some uPnP is unreliable, could this be the case?
