I have windows XP
Isp=tisculi
i have no firewalls(excluding the windows one)
2GB of ram
lots of hard drive space
i've got broadband
i'm using the computer at home on a home network so sharing the conection wih two laptops
I also have AVG Free Edition-Control Centre
O and I live in the UK

Can anyone help? (I think I have included most of the facts on that sticky page)

Sorry again if this is in the wrong place!

The most likely cause is your isp. Try the suggestions in this thread: I have found a solution to getting Limewire to work with Tiscali

still no joy!

still not working!

Try deleting your LW preference folder while LW is completely shut down. See point #3 in this thread: Fixes for Limewire when LW isn't operating as it should!

What modem/router do you have? Most have an internal firewall that need configured.

Hey 6_pac...GO STEELERS!!!!!!!!! I'm having same issue as gyanmahatme. I've emailed Limewire help desk three times and gotten no response. How about I bring my computer with me and let you get it working while me and my family are at training camp!

Hi Geri,

Have fun at training camp*jealous*. I'm excited to see how the new coach will do and what changes he'll make. It should be very interesting :).

As for your connection problem, you'll need to post your details: System details - help us to help you -> Provide these details when you post!!!

GO STEELERS!!!

I'm ok on computers, and so I think the problem is that my routers firewall is blocking Limewire, how would I solve this?

Does it have a model number on it? See if it's listed on this site under 3com. PortForward.com - Free Help Setting up Your Router or Firewall
