cant connect
 

Hi,

i know my isp is blocking p2p, the guy told me they do when he came to install (clearwire), i had no other choce as they are the only company in my area that give net access without messy line rental.

He said that i i know anything about ports i could bypass, so i went and found out what i could and can change ports easily, trouble is none work.

How many ports are there? whats their range? can you view them and see whats connecting what?

Ive heard the voip port is kept open?

He mentioned proxys also, ive tried many, none seem to work.....

sometimes when i turn off my firewall Limewire still detects it,

5. Connection type (eg: dialup, broadband, cable, etc.) ?BroadBand apparently though im not so sure about this
6.Modem what brand name & model numbers ?
7.Router brand name & model numbers ?Expedience Wireless Acess Modem Model: RSU-3510_SV

8. Where are you trying to connect from (house, apartment complex, school, student accommodation, work, etc.) ?House
9. What version,LimeWire & Java, are you using. Go to L/W's Help/About L/W, THIS show both LW & Java version.?Lw: 4.12.`11 Java:1.6.00-1
10. Who is your ISP provider (Internet Service Provider) ?Clearwire

12. Are you sharing the connection with other computers or p2p sharing programs? If yes, please give details of set up.no, nothing compares to Limewire as far as im concerned
13. Is this your 1st try at LW, or is this a new problem with an experienced user.? Well i know my way about the place so....
14. Do you see a brick wall in front of the blue world icon at the bottom of LW's interface ? Yes even when my firewall is off
15. Have you given full permissions for LimeWire to pass through your Firewall ? yes and even with it using different ports
16. XP users, Please state XP firewall on or off.? i have tried using just Windows firewall and Zone alarm
17. In Start & remove Programs, Is this update Installed, "Security Update for Windows XP (KB931261)" ? Yes
If Windows Updates are not seen, Tick the box at top of page, (show updates)
18. Are you using Manual Port faward in LimeWire OR UPnP ? ive tried using both
