 Limewire is not connecting through proxy server? I am running a small network of pcs here at my home. and running youngzsoft proxy software CCProxy at Pc1 (192.168.1.1) and trying to connect Limewire 4.12.6 Pro (java 1.5.0_05 installed) at socks5 : 1080 from PC2 (192.168.1.2) and it shows starting connection but does not connect. can anyone of you help me?  (Limewire listen on port : 24500 ) My internet connection type is Dial Up connecting at PC1 (192.168.1.1) and networked my all pcs with router OvisLink model WL-5424AR . Limewire is connecting from my PC1 which have direct internet connection and pc2 has to go through Proxy and it doesn't connect. OS : Windows XP Media Center Edition I have tested http://www3.limewire.com:6346/ it says " Your Test Worked". reply soon !  Last edited by speedium-wifi; June 29th, 2007 at 01:26 PM.  |

 I don't have a clue about proxies, but maybe these threads will help (lots of links within the first thread).
