One user can't connect....what's up? I've had LW for over a year, finally went Pro. Now I can't connect, but my wife and son can on the same computer. My user is the only one having problems, so I don't think it's a firewall issue. I don't think I changed anything, other than installing LW Pro. Any ideas? TIA for any assistance. |
1. After upgrading to pro it's often a good idea to delete the previous LW preferences folder: Try deleting your LW Preferences folder whilst LW is closed; instructions here: Point #2 & 3 in Fixes for Limewire (sample image included at bottom of page.) 2. System details - help us to help you (click on blue link) 3. It's best you both don't use the same connection & listening ports. These can be set in Tools > options > Advanced > firewalls. But you may also need to change port set to be cleared for LW in your software firewall. |
