Try deleting your limewire preference folder... Fixes for Limewire when LW isn't operating as it should Also you could try the JRE 5.11, it seems to be the most stable for many users... Uninstall your Java from the add/remove programs and then re-install the JRE 5.11 offline version.... Archive: Download Java 2 Platform Standard Edition (J2SE) 5.0 Update 11 |

You said that you had Port Forwarded what instructions did you follow to do this ?? These are your instructions... Port Forwarding for the 2wire 1701HG |
my bad i meant p2p but i typed servers i already knew how to configure my router for port forwarding but i went to that site anyhow just to double check my settings and everything matched |
Try going to your connections Tab in limewire, if it's not showing up go to Veiw > Show/Hide and make sure the connection tab has a tick next to it... Then click on the Hosts and remove them and let Limewire search for some more... Also make sure you have replaced the port number that you selected when you port forwarded and place it back into the manual port forward box and the listen port box and select apply...;) Another thing to look at as well is AT&T they are known for shaping p2p connections... Router Blocking Limewire! no connection. help please!! Firewall/Proxy Settngs http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...379#post202379 |
