Just Installed Limewire 4.12.15 And It Won't Open

I don't know what the problem is. I click on the LimeWire icon and it shows the LimeWire 4.12.15 logo in the middle of the screen for a second and then disappears and nothing else happens. What's the problem and how can I fix it?

Try these fixes...
Try uninstalling your Java from the add/remove programs and then re-install the JRE 5.11 offline version....
Archive: Download Java 2 Platform Standard Edition (J2SE) 5.0 Update 11

If that does not help with your problem try deleting your preference folder...
