Xowe's Solution Worked !
 

Hope I don't jinx myself - but I've been connected for the last four hours or so. Like a lot of people here I'd installed, uninstalled, deleted folders etc. and nothing worked. Check it out, This might be THE fix. I'm not computer savy, but it got me connected.

what address are you connected to?

Hi, I've been going to the list provided by Xowe & copying & pasting an address & port until I get one that works, sometimes that will get me hooked up with three ultrapeers, sometimes only one or two. At least I got rid of the stinking brickwall. Don't give up.
