help and support (limewire wont load)
 

I downloaded the pro version of limewire today, and everything went okay. Now it wont come up when I click on the icon except for about one second, then all of the colors on my start menu bar get pixelated and turn weird colors. Please help!

Try these fixes...
Try uninstalling your Java from the add/remove programs and then re-install the JRE 5.11 offline version....
Archive: Download Java 2 Platform Standard Edition (J2SE) 5.0 Update 11

If that does not help with your problem try deleting your preference folder...
Fixes for Limewire when LW isn't operating as it should

hey i am back again i have been off for months
could never reload limewire so i stayedaway
thought i try again with you guys
windows xp laptop
one day limewire icon did not work
downloaded new java thing
deleted and reloaded limewire
never every came up so lets see what coudl happen today
not savy computer person
firewall allows itunes and limewire etc.
dsl fast one through bellsouth
