![]() Have you tried other ports in the range that I gave you? Send a PM to Pointman (he uses Clearwire) & ask what port(s) he uses or has used. http://www.gnutellaforums.com/privat...=newpm&u=78046 Have you tried connecting at different times of day? I'm not sure whether that would make a difference but you might find that you can connect at certain times. Also, use Google to search...you might find more info from other Clearwire users ![]() You could also read through this thread, there might be some info to help. http://www.gnutellaforums.com/connec...-limewire.html |

![]() Sorry it took Me so long to respond but I just got the PM today then I spent a good 2 hours writing up a walkthru for Superfly29 only to find this thread afterwords. Well it's a clear fact that Superfly29 is in a bad situation having QueerWire as an ISP while living in Ireland, so anything I have to offer might not be of any use but for what it's worth here it goes. First off the answer Superfly29 gave to question 10 kinda hangs over His situation like a bad Omen, because I was able to access that page even when My DL speeds were at their worst 1-2kbps. Quote:
Question #2.Try unplugging Your Router & connect directly to Your QueerWire Modem & try to access the test page & see if it truly is Your ISP thats Blocking You? Question #3.Are You sure Plug & Play is enabled on both Your OS & Your Router ? Question #4.Did You add Gnutella & Limewire as Services? Not just as Exceptions but also as Services & set TCP/UDP ports for each in the Advanced Settings for Your Nic? Question #5.Setting Your Nic to a Static IP then setting Your Router to use that Static IP as well as setting up Port Forwarding within the Router & the Nic is not an easy trick to learn,so if You had any trouble with those steps at all, then that is where we need to focus. The Port I used with Port Forwarding enabled thur LW & SPII as well as My Belkin Router is Port# 39064 But Dude I found out that alone, does not Get-er-Done!! Because it turned out to be quite a few things over the course of a 6-month period of time crammed full of searching, reading, learning & weeding thru many tweaks to find the few good ones, that eventually got My QueerWire speed up to 170KBps & Higher,So You really need to spend the time to answer each one of these questions to the fullest & I'll do My best to help You out. It's a fact that all of XP's traffic is hampered by the half open limit imposed on XP via SPII & it's said that Clearwire Traffic-Shapes P2P Traffic so thats a badX2 but with the this patch www.LvlLord.de - Tipps, Tricks & Utilities - Downloads You can remove the half open limit imposed on XP thus removing half of the problem & then there's this tool Cablenut.com - We're alive and tweaking' which definately helped Me to get what I pulled outta Limewire with QueerWire as an ISP. PS: Just for My own peice of Mind please call Your local Clearwire office & ask the Manager if they Traffic-Shape Limewire(P2P) packetts, I'd really like to know what He says to the public in Ireland!
