Do you see a brick wall in front of the blue world icon at the bottom of FW's interface?YES Hi all, Well I'm another person that is having a night-mare connecting to Limewire. I've tried quite a few things now over the last week or so including changing my ISP to a cable provider as I established my previous isp blocked all p2p services (talk talk). Im now on NTL (again, so much for saving a few quid!)which I know from previous experience does not block p2p's. I have the xp firewall disabled and no other firewalls installed. I also have the little brickwall showing on the bottom left of the page so cant understand why this is, im pretty sure its related though. I tried manual port forwarding too, still no luck...Can anyone give me some suggestions, I cant believe I've changed to NTL at a cost of £70 to escape from the TALK TALK contract only to be presented with the same issue. ![]() ![]() m3lv Last edited by m3lv; October 19th, 2006 at 01:24 PM. |

![]() You and me both mate. You could imagine my concern that even cable providers had started using the moral high ground to control their bandwidth usage! Sussing this out has sorted out so many other issues I was having internet wise too! ![]() |
