Boh...Thanks for all your help but that didn't work either. This is going to bug me but at least it looks like I'm not the only one who's having this problem by a long way!

Just a quick update: I managed to 'fix' things by switching over to Frostwire, which works perfectly. Maybe it's a little strange that FW works and LW doesn't but I'm certainly not complaining.

Frostwire is the way to go, throw Limewire in the trash!!!
