Cannot connect with one computer on my network

Hi,

I have two computers running on my network, both updated with the latest Java and Limewire. Both computers have CA Antivirus on them and no firewall (for testing purposes). I have a Linksys WRTSL54GS router between my DSL modem and my computers. Both connections are done wired. The router does not have UPNP enabled. I have no ports forwarded, and my one computer works just fine. On the other computer, I've tried varying combinations of everything I can think of and nothing works. I just cannot get a connection, no matter what I do. Both computers have the latest Windows XP SP2 updates. I checked port 6346 through the limewire website, and it had no problem connecting there. When I check bug reports, it shows IsConnected = False. I checked to see how it was setup, and it is set up for port 6346 for manual port forward and listening port. Right now I also have this computer set up with a static IP of 192.168.1.51, and have ports 6346 - 6349 forwarded to it.

When limewire tries to connect, I check the connection tab. It is just running through attempts at connecting to different IPs, but not a single one is connecting. I took a look through netstat and got the following:

TCP 0.0.0.0:6346 0.0.0.0:0 LISTENING
UDP 0.0.0.0:6346 *:*
UDP 0.0.0.0:6347 *:*

Limewire used to work fine on this machine. Something's happened to make it stop working fine.

Any help or ideas on stuff I can try would be very much appreciated.

Have a look at these Port Forwarding instructions, this will help you set up your router correctly to allow Limewire access through the Nat Firewall..

You will not have to re-do the static IP part if the computer your having trouble with already has one...

Port Forwarding for the Linksys WRT54GS

WRTSL54GS is similar to the WRT54GS while adding additional firmware features and a USB 2.0 port (referred to as StorageLink) which can be used for a USB hard disk or flash drive.
Unlike other models, the WRTSL54GS only has one antenna.
