Please Help (Can't download) Hi, i purchased LW Pro yesterday and it installed fine. When i try to search for anything, nothing appears. My details are below: 1. OS version? (eg: Windows 98) Windows XP 2. What firewalls you have? Norton Anti Virus 3. How much ram? No idea 4. Hard Disk space available? Plenty 5. Connection type? (eg: dialup, broadband, cable, etc.) Broadband 6. Modem & router brand name & model numbers? No idea 7. Where are you trying to connect from (house, appartment complex, school, student accomodation, work, etc.)? House 8. What version of LimeWire (LW) & Java do you have? (Go to LW's menu Help>About LW...) Will show both LW & Java version. Lime Wire 4.14.8 Pro Java 1.5.0_11 9. Who is your ISP (Internet Service Provider)? Optusnet 10. Do this simple test for us. Using your browser go here: http://www3.limewire.com:6346/ The page should say 'Your test worked!'. What happens when you go there? It worked 11. Are you sharing the connection with other computers or p2p sharing programs? If yes, please give details of set up. No 12. Is this a your 1st try at LW or is this a new problem with an experienced user. Had free version on LW it worked for a while then stopped so i purchased pro thinking it would help 13. Ok...It has a Nat Firewall within, which may be causing your problem, these are your instructions to Port Forward... Port Forwarding for the Dlink DSL-302G Now when you get to the part to do the Static IP and you come to the DNS server numbers, Optus will not have them listed.... These are the numbers you need to use... DNS Numbers |
