12% ends it for me?

I recently downloaded limewire to my new laptop. It was working great, i was downloading for awhile. then i decided to move my shared and incomplete folders from my fiiles section to the c:/programs limewire folder like i have it on my other PC. After that i clicked on limewire to open it, it loads to 12% and then just freezes there. I tried unistalling it and reinstalling it at least 4 times and it didnt work. at this poiny im more worried about ruining my laptop, someone please help me fix this so i can download limewire one last time and have it work. thanks a ton for any help.

Try deleting your preference folder/s...This will re-set everything back to default...

Uninstalling limewire won't delete the preference folder...
Use the link I gave about finding the folder for Vista...;)

One more thing you can try is uninstalling all versions of Java from the add/remove programs and then re-install the JRE 5.11 offline version....
