Connection (freezing after update pop up window)
 

Until today, I have had no problem connecting to limewire. But every time I try to connect a window pops up asking me to upgrade to limewire pro. that seems to lock up my connection and I have to control/alt delete to remove limewire. any ideas?:confused:

I remember someone else having this same problem as you and it ended up Java being the cause...This is what fixed there problem...

Try uninstalling all versions of Java from the add/remove programs and then re-install the JRE 5.11 offline version....

I have the same problem, and I removed java and then installed that other version but it did not work. What do I do now?

I know this is random, but how do I make my own post/thread?

Try deleting your Preference folder...

To start your own thread find the appropriate forum for your question and on the top left you will see a tab saying New Thread...

When I had to find all of those things, like the limewire folder, nothing showed up.
I have windows vista.

Did you follow Grandpa's advice on where to find the hidden folder in Vista..
