Default Help Please (Won't connect to the network)

I have successfully used Limewire for years. However, today it will not successfully connect. It says that it is connected, but when I search it says: limewire is currently connecting to the network. I wait and wait and it is never able to search. I upgraded to the newest basic version today and it still does not work. I have turned my internet firewall off. Any ideas on what to do next?

I'd say it may be a corruption in your preference folder...
This means the best fix is to delete it...

I'll check your router to see if maybe that is where the firewall is coming from.

Your version of Java is very outdated try updating to this version.

Remove all versions of Java & upgrade to Java 1.5_10 Archive: Download Java 2 Platform Standard Edition (J2SE) 5.0 Update 10.
