help needed - Wait until "fully connected to the network" message keeps coming up.

I got limewire last nite and today when i try to search for stuff "limewire is currently connecting to the network. your search may not return many results until you are fully connected to the network" message keeps coming up.
can anyone help?

This is my problem too

Indded, what is going on? I was able to search only the first time I used it. Now it says it has to wait until I am fully connected. I never had these problems the first time I got Limewire about a year ago. This is a newer version. Totally frusterating. I have disabled firewall etc. etc. but no dice.

I had the same message, and firewall was disabled for limewire, etc. and etc.. Then, I shut down the computer, restarted, and got a prompt that java script was disabled, so I enabled it, and voila!, I am now getting results for my searches and am listening to "The Outlaws" now as I write!! Good luck!

Shut down your computer completely, and then restart. When I did, a prompt that java script ws disabled came up, I enabled JS, and limewire started to work!! Good luck!

I had same message, so I shut down the whole computer. Restarted, got a prompt that java script was disabled, so I enabled it, and got right in to limewire and it now works perfectly ( and fast too!).
