Okay, for all of you who has had major problems with the connection.. I found the sollution!!!:yahoo:
okay, go into your map with the limewire-files (often C:/Program Files/LimeWire)
and then you go to the map named "lib", and delete the file "SystemUtillities.dll"
then the program will set itself to default settings, and might connect again:idea:
Anyways; this helped me, so I hope it will work for you too..

Mizz Matrix, What is the map with the limewire files. How do I find this map. ? I don`t know how to get into drive C:/program files/limewire. Could you give me directions on how to do this. I have gone to my computer, R-click on HP Pavilion drive C:/ & I can`t find the map named lib, nor can I find the files System/utilities.dll. I would appreaciate your help very much. ThaDman9696: If you locate the map where the program is installed, then you might find the map "lib".. and in that map, there is a file called "systemutillities.dll"... if you delete that file, it might connect again... if you need any further info, add me on MSN [edit]

um mizz matrix, do you have any solutions for the 1 green bar problem? AND NO IM NOT STUPID! I was asking a perfectly reasonable question! Ive tried alot! Does anyone know how to drag music videos into your itunes library once there downloaded? i can drag them into itunes once they are downloaded but they don't stay there or appear in the library afterwards..they just disappear! i know they need to be mpeg4 which i've download but they seem to be going into my nokia media player what i use for my phone, tried converting them also using a download form download.com but they still don't work..don't really know how to start a thread on here either so if anyone could help me that would be great!

I'm using windows xp
I have tried all but this worked. Everything was fine until i went wireless.
If you have windows xp firewall you have too mark DNS in advanced settings.
Go to the advanced settings for your network. Under advanced there should appear windows firewall and click the box settings. You should get a long list of
things you can mark so that people(internet) can reach you
in the list you should see:
DHCP
DNS mark this one!!!
FTP-server
UPnP
.....

I have a swedish version so i don't know all the technical terms in english. So if people don't get what i am trying too say.... someone maybe can put it in other words.

help, i had limewire version 4.12.6 & when i logged on to limewire last night it AUTOMATICALLY started to download version 4.14.10 i don't know why or how but it did. i then tried to go about my business & it will not allow any connection to download, a window pops up & says, "go to file & hit connect etc, etc, etc" i tried that & the connect is already in use & when i exit limewire it will not exit, the icon goes away but a window with a bar (back & forth) says disconnecting & it will not. I have to turn off my computer to get it off the screen. I want version 4.12.6 does anybody know where i can download it, i tried many sites but it justs updates it to the newer version. Thank you

The forced updates are due to changes in the gnutella network. They want everybody to keep pace otherwise those with older versions have a negative impact on the gnutella network. ;) Other gnutella programs are also upgrading.
Not much to complain about schroeder, it's a free program, & think of how much you have gained from it.
