"Limewire wasn't able to set up a port to listen for incoming connections..."

The title describes my problem, I looked at everything on the site with which could help me. I went into my firewall and added both the program and ports, I tried deleting them and re-adding them. I have Trend Micro Antivirus 2007 but couldn't find anything to change settings. There isn't anything on my SpeedStream router that would allow any exceptions. I have Windows Vista, but that shouldn't be a problem with compatibility. Funny thing is a while ago I had LimeWire Beta and that worked fine, no problems at all. I had to reformat my comp because of some stupid virus so I lost LimeWire Beta.

Your Vista firewall settings will have reverted to default then. Which model SpeedStream do you have? Are we supposed to guess? Almost all high speed routers have internal NAT firewalls. Question is whether they support UPnP or not or whether their UPnP is enabled or whether their UPnP support is efficient enough.
Also check your control panels & program folder to see if there's a trend firewall or any other software firewall.

Sorry I forgot the model, it says on the bottom SpeedStream 4100 if that helps.
