![]() I still can't find any info on it.... Try these... Try changing the listen port in limewire to 64049 and select apply... To find this option go to Tools > Options > Advanced > Firewall... You can also select the manual port forward option and enter 64049 and select apply... Right-click the Limewire icon and go to properties and change compatability setting to Windows 2000. (but only if you're using Windows 2000 or later.) Somebody reported changing to Windows NT compatibility fixed their problem despite not using that operating system version. Right-click on the Limewire icon on the desktop and click on Run as. Then it should come up showing the current user and then switch it over to Administrator. (but 'only' if you're the admin of your comp.!) I'm also starting to suspect MEDIACOM as they have been known to shape p2p bandwidth... [RANT] Mediacom blocking P2P traffic - Dont waste your money - dslreports.com Have you tried connecting at different times of day/night ?? Have you tried using any other p2p apps ??

![]() I'm running out of ideas... You could try uninstalling Limewire using the uninstaller which is found in start > all programs > limewire...then re-install it using the offline installer...To find the offline installer, use the link below > cancel the installer window when it pop's up and then select the offline installer link... Lime Wire » Download LimeWire If that doesn't help could you goggle your modem and see what info you come up with regarding port forwarding...I couldn't find anything... ![]()
