Bug in 4.14..?
 

Hey, listen up now, you guys.. I've been thinking a lot lately..
And, I've come to the sollution that LW 4.14 is bugged, or has some errors that leads to a connection-problem... Because, all of the problems appears to people that have installed 4.14... And even if you install an older version of it, you STILL have problems...:( If this is not a fact, notice me..;)

If you think there's a bug in 4.14.10, post in this other forum. Some of the developers hang out over there.

yes there is a bug, the same thing has happened to me & 4 of my other friends, same problem with connecting & not exiting, i checked out the stats on 4.14.10 & it says at the VERY bottom that bugs need to be worked out. This is horrible & i can not retrieve any other version & if so and applied, it does the same thing as 4.14.10 version. Limewire sucks & i'm going to go somewhere else, i was going to get limewire pro but the limewire pro people are having connection problems to. i hate to go somewhere else but i have no choice. Well I don't have any problems with using LW 4.14.8
BTW most versions have some kind of bugs that are attempted to be fixed in the next or later versions.

If you'd like to try another gnutella program to see if it works ok, try Phex to see if you have the same problems.

schroeder: do you REALLY wanna leave LimeWire?:P I mean, how long have you been using it? and, as LOTR says: new versions may have updates that don't have the bug, because they've upgraded... so, have patience;)
another thing you CAN do, which helped me, by the way: backup your files and programs, reinstall windows where you delete all files, and re-install LW, this time from the old version-site... this worked so great for me..:D and for the rest of you who want a more detailed description on this: notice me:D
