Having connection problems all of a sudden? This fix worked for me.
 

All of a sudden with the latest LW update, I couldn't connect anymore. What's up I ask? Sure enough, I visit this forum and many others are having the same problem all of a sudden. Well, going to the help links came up with a fix.
Go to your C:\Documents and Settings\ "your name" and you will find a folder labeled ".limwire"
Delete the folder. Problem fixed!
This fix is posted by limewire FAQs, that's where I found it and it worked for me.

Yesterday i have been trying to get an connection and havent gotten any and im looking for that file you said to delete but havent found it,o you know if it may anywhere else,cause im gettin frustrated by this

It's a hidden folder. Instructions in this thread points 2 & 3(check both locations): Fixes for Limewire. This will reset all your option settings, so make a note of them first.

Thanks for the help :idea:but I didnt have to delete anything, my connection came back on automatically,its just that it takes bout a good 15 mins to connect but i aint got no problem with that
