Help instructions for someone who isn't a computer wiz
 

I'm hoping someone can help me figure out how to remove the firewall so that I can use my LimeWire again. I've read lots of these threads, butI need help in layman's terms. I've never fixed my own computer. All I know is that my LimeWire used to work and there is a firewall blocking my connection. If someone could help me I would really really appreciate it.

Try deleting LW's preference folder with LW completely shut down. Instructions in this thread points 2 & 3(check both locations): Fixes for Limewire(try the other fixes too). This will reset all your option settings, so make a note of them first.
