this is really bad..what's this "LOCK" in my limewire window???no search results..
 

hi..can you help me with this??

ever since i download the latest version of limwire i can't download songs anymore even though i have java downloaded in my program.

when i open the limewire window,it looks it functions,for i can view the menu and stuff like that,but when i tried to SEARCH for SONGS in order for me to download,no search results appeared..i only saw a message on the upper part of the music search window,below library button having this "(triangle sign with an exclaimation point on it)ONLY SEARCH RESULTS WITH A (lock sign)ARE OFFICIAL LIMEWIRE COMMUNICATIONS" .....thats it..and i dunno why no results are being shown..

ALSO:
when i open the limewire program, i read this pop-up msg "limewire was unable to set you a port to listen for incoming connections......."

what will i do????????

pls help me..ive been trying to figure this out for like a week already..and nothing's happen..
ive been re-installing the limewire and the java program..but still no change..

That wouldn't be the problem as that padlock notice you see at the top of your searches is to notify you of a particular search result that contains a virus...
It's a 75.7 KB .exe & shows up as "Urgent LW update - download & install now". If people download that thing they could end up infected. To try to prevent careless people from downloading a dangerous file, the warning banner was added to LW's interface.

The padlock symbol doesn't apply to music or video etc, only to LW updates...

Please post these details, so we can see what is causing your problem...
