16. XP users, Please state XP firewall on or off.? It's off
17. In Start & remove Programs, Is this update Installed, "Security Update for Windows XP (KB931261)" ? I Have KB893803 If Windows Updates are not seen, Tick the box at top of page, (show updates)
18. Are you using Manual Port faward in LimeWire OR UPnP ? Yes | Ensure your XP firewall is off. Try disabling McAffee firewall temporarily to see if it connects. If still no good, try these things (1) Try deleting your LW Preferences folder whilst LW is closed; instructions here: Point #2 & 3 in Fixes for Limewire (sample image included at bottom of page.). (2) Problems with the search
