help not connected
 

hey first time on lw. i have a cable connection windows xp . i have mcafee security and windows . i have cut mcafee off and made an exception for lw on windows firewall. but i still have a brick around the world. i still have alot of ram and space left. i dont know if this is enough help i hope so. if anyone can help me i would appreciate it

I don't know why I can no longer connect to limwire. It says that my computer doesn't have internet connection or a firewall is blocking it. I shut the firewall down completely and it still said the same. My connection is fine because I can access my email and internet with no problems. I am at a loss...Any suggestions?
