lime wire was working fine for a while and all of a sudden every time i turn it on it constantly says "connecting o the network" in the bottom left corner with the connection indicator on one bar, it stays like this indefinatly... iv tried all sots to get it to connt iv browsed through a few things on here too and nothin seems to be working. what stumps me is that it worked fine at first but now its allways "concting to the network" and its not giving any search results for any searches atall. iv changes the firewall to allow for limewire but that hasnt made any difference...

anyone got any ideas?

ive been getting that for the last few days. given up!

downloaded frostwire and that was exactly the same. but on their forum they suggested opening the connections tab

cant be bothered to go back to limewire now. but it might be worth a try

Do what matey above said. Go to your connections tab (to do this; Click on the "tools" tab at top of page then you wiol see both "OPTIONS" and "ADVANCED" tabs. Click on OPTIONS. This will take you into a page with a list of words down the left hand side; you will see "Connections" there. Once having clicked "Connections" you will see a box with "Connect on start-up" infront of the box. Make sure the biox is ticked, then click apply (at bottom of page) then OK, which should take you onto normal screen, if not just exit the connections page.

You should notice at this point that the connections bar on the normal limewire screen will increase from one bar and also you should see that next to that bar, where you see the flag (indicating your language preference), will change into a globe.

constantly connecting to limewire? this should help
