How can I be sure I'm connected correctly
I get few search results which can be a result of my subject of choice not being very available or not as many people are online and I have to wait til later but I just wanted to be sure I am connected correctly. How would I make sure that I am connected correctly and eveything's fine?

If you have all green/blue connection bars then your LW's connection is fine.
If you find that you're not getting many search results, click on the Connections tab. Right click on the ultrapeers that you're connected to > remove. Once you remove an ultrapeer, LW will connect to new ones...this can change the search results that you see.

what connection tab? All I got is Search, Monitor and Library tabs. I have the latest version of limewire.
