So this is all fairly new to me, but limewire used to work on my computer but then it stopped working a few months back. Anytime I try to search for anything, I get this reply "you are not connected to the network. To connect, select "connect" from the "File" menu. Your search may not return any results until you connect." (except it doesn't let me click on "connect"!!!) I have taken limewire on and off my computer several times to see if that works and it doesn't. I tried bear share, which lets me download some things, but won't let me transfer it to my mp3 player, even after buying the subscription. I've also tried several other music sharing programs that tell me that the page cannot be displayed...so obviously it's something wrong with my computer?

I have a cable modem for my apartment through Armstrong cable, I have a norton firewall (which i shut off while downloading limewire 4.14.10) and I completed the test recommended and the test said it was completed successfully....please help! I'm not sure why it just stopped working because I didn't change anything on my pc. Anyone have a clue???
