just downloaded lw and it wont connect or anything

I can not connect and I have re-installed both LW and JAVA also have deleted my pereference folder. Message says CONNECTING TO NETWORK blah blah blah...It started a month ago when I updated LW I have been using for years and never had a problem before now. I only have one little green bar and LW is an exeption in my firewall settings. No settings have been changed since the old version. Any help would be very greatful

nvm got it fixed but now it wont download
i click the download button but it does nothing

Go to your control panel and double click on network connections....you should see how to enable/disable your firewall from there.

Ok, I appreciate that and did try it. The exception box for limewire was already checked, but still says firewall detected by the connecting box...what else can I do?
